• What should I wear to an appointment?

   Wear something comfortable for you. You will have privacy to dress down to your comfort level and get under the blankets of the massage table. Only the areas being massaged will be uncovered and then recovered. You can wear as little or as much clothing as you would like as you will be properly draped.

• What payment types do you accept?

    Preferred method is cash or Venmo.  We also accept all major credit cards, HSA cards and Zelle where applicable.

• What is your cancellation policy?

    At Hearthstone, we respect your time and hope that you respect ours. If you contact us at least 2 hours before the start of your appointment time, you will not be charged. However, No-shows and late cancellations will be charged full price of the service via the card you booked with or via invoice that must be paid before booking another appointment.

• What does a Crystal Chakra Balancing entail?

   Crystals or gemstones that correspond to the individual chakras of the body are placed on and around the body. The gentle energies of the crystals balance the chakras and a pendulum is used to ensure proper chakra function.

• What is the difference between basalt and Himalayan hot stones?

  Basalt stones are the dark stones that are traditionally used during "hot stone massage". They are heated in a water roaster and used during the massage to relax the muscles with added heat. These are smooth in texture.

  Himalayan stones are really chunks of Himalayan salt. These do not maintain heat for as long as Basalt stones However, the added benefits of these stones are their ability to neutralize ionic chaos and remineralize the body. These are sometimes scratchy in texture.

I recommend a shower to rinse off the salt within a few hours to prevent skin irritation.

• How are hot towels applied to my treatment?

   At the end of the massage, the feet are wrapped in hot towels and one is placed on the face or neck.

• I don't know what modality of massages I want; what should I book?

   Book your time with any upgrades you would like and, when you arrive for your appointment, we can discuss pressure preference and decide on a course of action together. Also, I am always happy to answer questions. Feel free to email or text me or call and leave a message.

• I noticed that online booking adds 5 mins extra per upgrade: Do upgrades add extra time?

   Upgrades to not add extra time unless noted in the title. my online booking program requires that I add a time amount per service, but upgrades are done within the amount of massage time you book, unless noted in the title. (example: 10 extra minutes $10)
